Mahjong 101 is a fun, welcoming, and stress-free introduction to the game of Mahjong! Whether you are brand new or just curious to learn, this lesson is designed to make you feel confident and excited to play.
During our 3-hour session, you will learn how to play using the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules. It’s a true learning experience, but always social, fun, and enjoyable.
Everything is provided for you – beautiful Mahjong sets, tiles, racks, and all the accessories you need. Each student receives their very own coveted Mahjong 101 Card, created by Mama Mahjong, to take home as a helpful reference and a special keepsake from your first Mahjong experience. Just show up ready to learn and have fun!
This class is held at Chuys, so you are welcome to order anything from the menu. We encourage you to enjoy food and drinks, we just kindly ask that you please be generous to our servers.
Choose from either our AM sessions that is 11 AM- 2 PM or you may attend the evening session from 5:30-8:30. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions!
